In high-contamination manufacturing environments, standard open carriers invite dust, wood chips, and metal shavings to destroy your internal lines.
Our reinforced fully enclosed nylon cable drag chain series (45mm and 55mm inner height) is engineered to solve this exact vulnerability. Molded from premium Nylon PA66 injected with over 30% fiberglass reinforcement, this series delivers exceptional structural rigidity and torsional resistance, serving as the ultimate armor for your high-speed automated machinery.
Unlike generic plastic tracks that sag under dynamic stress, our flexible drag chain utilizes a proprietary compound containing more than 30% structural glass fibers. This formulation ensures high tensile strength and impact resistance without sacrificing the natural flexibility needed for millions of cycles.
This energy chain cable carrier features an interlocking enclosed design. It completely seals your lines from external debris while remaining easily accessible for maintenance via snap-open crossbars along the radius.
Vertical Separators Only: We intentionally focus on rugged, vertical-only partitioning to prevent horizontal line stacking and minimize internal friction.
Integrated Fiber Optic Clips: Delicate fiber optic lines require zero-pressure routing. Our unique modular clips secure sensitive communication lines away from heavy power cables.
Choose engineered nylon brackets for lightweight, corrosion-resistant operations, or upgrade to integrated steel brackets for high-vibration applications requiring absolute anchorage.
The Challenge: A precision CNC router manufacturer faced frequent downtime due to hot metal chips melting into exposed lines, combined with heavy weight from thick hydraulic hose dragchain layouts.
The Solution: They retrofitted their axes with our 45mm enclosed nylon cable drag chain. The 30% fiberglass-reinforced PA66 body successfully repelled flying debris. By utilizing our vertical separators to isolate the high-pressure hydraulic lines from the feedback cables, and snapping the signal lines into our specialized fiber optic clips, cross-line friction was reduced to zero.
The Result: The machine has run seamlessly for over 18 months without a single cable-related fault.
To guarantee maximum lifespan for your cable & hose carriers, follow this professional engineering checklist before placing your order:
Rule of thumb: Hin≥Diameter of your thickest cable/hose ×1.15
If your thickest hydraulic hose is 38mm, choose our 45mm series. If it reaches 47mm, upgrade to the 55mm series.
Sum up the diameters of all cables/hoses.
Add a 10% clearance gap between each line.
Account for the vertical separators (each separator takes up approx. 3-5mm of internal width).
R ≥Diameter of thickest cable×10(or refer to your cable manufacturer’s minimum bend radius).
Available Radii: From tight 75mm setups up to generous 250mm curves for thicker lines.
Don't let poor cable protection become the weak link in your automation setup. Whether you need a drop-in replacement or a complete custom-configured energy chain cable carrier assembly with integrated vertical separation, our technical support team is standing by to optimize your machinery's uptime.
